April 17th was an event you did not want to miss!
Fashion, runway, styling, cocktails, mingling and jamming tunes were all a big part of Gastown boutique, Alfie Italia’s FASHION : DECODED event. I, alongside my fellow stylist, Jason Sarai from Style by Sarai, styled models with brands from Alfie Italia. The ladies were kitted in Travis Taddeo and complemented with a few pieces from Jennyfleur Loves…, Carla Nero Design and Gypsy Soul Designs and more.
A few trends I highlighted in my six looks were: the minamilist, irridescence/hologram, orange (which is the new black for spring!), the white dress shirt, crop tops, bright colours, sporty chic and tropical prints. Layering was a key aspect to my looks to show the versatily of having a basic piece underneath and how it could be worn from day to night.
Jason’s collection showcased a series of dapper men with a brief run down on how to incorporate the various pieces into one’s wardrobe and again the use of adding or taking away elements to make it more versatile.
Thank you to the sponsors for the night MASC, Litchfield, Revolucion Fine Cigars and Gifts and music by DJ George Venetis. And of course thank you to fab event organiser Amanda Vanas from Creative Culture and the Jennyfleur Loves duo for your helping hand!
