A Special Treat For Mother’s Day!

In Uncategorized on May 6, 2014 at 8:18 pm

Mother's Day

Treat that superhero lady in your life with a stylish gift this Mother’s Day!

Colour

($75)

By looking at your skin tone, hair and eye colour, I will show you which colours complement and enhance your natural features. Shortly after our meeting you will be sent a colour report including useful tips on your colours, make-up and accessories along with colour swatches for you to take with you when you go shopping.

 *

Style & Body Shape

($75)

In this consultation we will discuss your lifestyle and personality to establish your style. We will look at your body shape to ensure you are wearing the correct clothes to make the most of your best features and tricks on disguising the bits you don’t like. This session is guaranteed to leave you with invaluable tips and bags of confidence.

 *

Wardrobe Detox

3 hours minimum ($150)

This service is offered as a stand-alone service but is most beneficial when combined with the colour, style and body shape consultation as the results from those are taken into consideration when going through your wardrobe.

I will visit your home, where we will go through all the items in your wardrobe systematically based on your needs. We will sort your clothes into four piles – items to keep, items to be altered, items to go to charity and items to sell. I will show you different ways to wear and combine existing clothes and how to revive items with a few simple tweaks.

For items that go into the charity pile, I will arrange for these to be taken to a local charity store. For items to be sold, I can sell them for you on e-bay, giving you back 50% of the sale price.

The final step will involve looking at the gaps in your wardrobe and compiling a list of what you need in order to achieve a basic skeletal wardrobe, which you can then start to add to with your newfound knowledge. This session is designed to give you a renewed confidence in yourself and your appearance.

*

Personal Shopping

3 hours minimum ($150)

As with the wardrobe analysis, this service is most beneficial when you have undergone the colour, style, body shape and wardrobe analysis, as we will know exactly what colours and styles to look out for and we’ll have a list of essential items to complete your skeletal wardrobe. Depending on your budget and preference, we can visit high street stores or designer boutiques. Whether you are looking for an outfit for a special occasion or for a new work wardrobe, I will show you how pleasurable shopping can be, once you know what you are looking for!

Eco Fashion Week Style Diary

In Uncategorized on October 18, 2013 at 4:57 am

Phew – catching up after the last Eco Fashion Week has been a challenge and a half but here is a quick summary of my style diary over the days I attended.  I love attending Eco Fashion Week (besides for the fashion of course), but it really re-inspires me to dig up my vintage pieces and implement them with the current trends.  And it’s always a great excuse to pull out my vintage fur!

Style Diary – 9 to 5

In Uncategorized on September 29, 2013 at 1:17 am

A two day delay in this post and I’m pretty certain it’s last of the “bare legs and open toe” look for this year :o(

Don’t you just adore this super cute skirt from Clarisky Clothing, owned by Clarissa Gallaccio, a local Vancouver designer with bags full of talent.  Her main line being the Sweet Pleat Collection – feminine retro pleated skirts that are so fun to prance around town in.   And that’s not all, there is also a chic collection of pleated bow-ties!

My outfit:  Skirt – Clarisky Clothing / Top – Warehouse / Heels – Topshop / Jacket – Zara image(29)
