So the last 3 weeks have been really, really amazing! 3 newspaper coverages, 1 newspaper front page and 2 Shaw TV appearances (one which I completely missed out on as I didn’t even know it would be airing – oh well!)

This shoot was done last November (hence all the warm colours and fur) with a wonderful team published in Alt. And I got to make a few furry things too, a fur muff (yes that’s what it’s called) and fur boot covers (which aren’t in the pic unfortunately) – see if you can spot it.

Yay – two reasons to do a happy dance:
One – my work being published in new British based magazine – Magpie Darling
Two – also being featured on the cover of said magazine – my FIRST COVER EVER! Yipee!
This shoot was 1920′s inspired with a bit of an Eastern infusion. Lots of rich colors, beading, feathers, gloves, gold and of course turbans! I got stuck into making a few accessories and pieces again, including the fully feathered bodysuit.

Wow, two shoots published in two days – it feels like Christmas come early! The most longest wait in the world is waiting for work to be published, as we can’t share it until it has been, but it’s always worth it in the end. This shoot was one of my favorites which might come as no surprise for the peeps who know me and know that I am totally addicted to color – it feeds my soul!

I loved pulling clothes and creating bits for this dark, moody shoot. As the wardrobe was all black, I set out to find clothing and accessories of different textures to add a perception of depth and a touch of edgy elegance. I also threw myself into a good few hours of creating my first ever body-armor accessory, complete with feathered shoulders!

What a seriously fun shoot this was! It was a 4am wake-up to get the first ferry across to Victoria which was like paying a little visit to the English countryside and brought back floods of happy memories and of everything I love about it.
